FHTs and Walk-in Clinics

The North Peel FHT physicians and staff strive to provide you with the best possible integrated health care. We use an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to coordinate your health information and our schedules to offer you appointments that suit your needs including same day urgent appointments and after-hours evening and weekend care.

Although we will do our best to accommodate you, on occasion you may not get the exact time slot you want. However, we aim to offer you an appointment within 24-48 hours of your call.

By rostering with one of the North Peel FHT family doctors, you are signing-up to receive your health care from this team.

We respectfully ask that you use North Peel FHT and its physicians as your first choice for primary health care, and avoid other services such as walk-in clinics and other primary care providers. When you need urgent care please call to see if it can be provided by North Peel FHT and physicians. We reserve appointment spaces for same day appointments and offer extended hours of care on a rotational basis. If you call for an urgent appointment and all appointments with the doctors are booked for the day already, we may schedule you to see the Nurse Practitioner who will assess you and consult the physician as needed.
